 | It was winter time and temperature appr. 10 to 15 minus C. Ice began to rise below the unit, and it made a column reaching the unit housing. |
 | Interestingly, the instruction manual, while listing tens of warnings and notices, did no mention of ice. Spill water due to air conditioning in the indoor unit was mentioned, but not ice due to the outdoor unit being in cold weather. Obviously ice needs to be carried away from under the unit. The sales and installation responsibles didn't present an option of installing the unit higher up on the wall in order to make maintenance intervals longer. |
