Product no. 57: Car racing game

This race system was bought as a Christmas present. A couple of times it worked nice. After that, symptoms started, with one or both of the cars stopping while on race.

The controls are impressive.

The problem was not the copper slips on the cars like one could suggest to start with. It was a bad tolerance of the copper slips on the road itself.

Copper wire gasketing was not effective enough. Soldering was tried also, with the aim of increasing material thickness, but it caused the plastic to melt. The system had to be discarded. The price through net auction could have been something, but in all fairness the system was simply put to crap.
